Hello! I’m the human behind Sweet Pea Wellness.

My pronouns are she/her, and I’m an experienced Reiki Master Apprentice in the Usui Shiki Ryoho tradition, currently based in Westchester, NY.

As someone who has explored lots of naturalistic healing modalities with other practitioners (many through the lens of wondering “Will this fix me?”), Reiki was the first method of healing that I eventually wanted to learn how to do for myself. I loved seeing how I could naturally calm and sooth myself with my own hands in such a gentle way, that there was no way to negatively influence the Reiki energy even if I was in a bad mood, and how many detailed messages my body would share with me just through sensations in my hands. It was from the joy of experiencing this for myself, and noticing how many things had subtly changed for the better in my life, that I decided I wanted to share this beautiful energy practice with others.
